The hotel building was built in 1961 and is rich in history. It was under the auspices of the “All-Union Leninist Communist Youth Union” and always justified its name “Yunost”, because it was constantly the center of gathering young people. The proximity to the Luzhniki Stadium contributed to the fact that guests and participants of the 80th Olympiad, the 12th World Festival of Youth and Students, Goodwill Games, Spartakiad and many other events of the newest history of Russia lived, rested and prepared for the competitions and performances. It can be said that almost all the mass events held in Moscow for more than 40 years of the functioning of the Yunost Hotel did not bypass it.
